Starlight Rare
Starlight Rare is modern Yu-Gi-Oh’s foil ceiling: full-card starlight pattern, chased in cores and Mega Tins. Odds vary; some Mega-Packs guarantee a Starlight.

QCSRs (25th-anniversary treatment) were retired mid-2025: closed supply. Strong split between icons/staples and average foil crushed by reprints.
Open raritySecret Rare
Secret Rare: classic horizontal foil. Baseline for playable chases and reprints; often the tier under Starlight / Platinum / Prismatic.
Open rarityUltra Rare
Ultra Rare: foil name + holo art. Common in Structure Decks and cores. Good for play without Starlight prices.

Ultimate Rare: embossed 3D art and text. Collector-first; often pricier than the Ultra of the same monster.
